To those of you who may know Matt Bennett the surfing in this clip will probably come as no surprise. To those that don’t well you’re in for a treat, see traditionally Matt has always ridden your modern, three fin weapon, and very well might we add. He has a real affinity with Raglan as you’ll see in the footage, in his competitive days scoring a 10 in the Raglan QS events of the late 90’s wasn’t a hard thing for him. Recently a bit bored of his equipment Matt got his hand on this 5’0 keel fish, shaped by myself (Shameless plug)… What I’m trying to say is basically I made Matt a board to see how he would go on it and maybe spice up his surfs a little. What resulted was some of the most beautiful fish surfing I’ve seen. The clip documents his first few sessions riding it.
