Greenpeace has launched a new campaign titled GET FREE. The three minute video, addresses the people of New Zealand and is a “call to action”.
The campaign is a call to New Zealanders to stand together in the defense of our oceans as the National-led government continues with the ‘expansion of fossil fuel extraction in the waters of Aotearoa, New Zealand’. It is call to defend the New Zealand way of life and to up-hold our reputation as a ‘green and clean’ country.
The campaign is launching at a time when New Zealanders are dealing with the after math of the governments new controversial law banning all protest at sea.
Top Kiwi surfers Daniel Kereopa and Misha Davis are featured in the video along with other kiwi participants.
