I first met Oli Adams as a sun bleached blonde kid from Ahipara. He’d honed his skills on the sand bottom lefts of the North before moving to Raglan and whipping my ass in the juniors event of the time… Since then his British ancestry has lead him back to the UK, where he has made a career out of surfing throughout Europe & the UK. Its good to see he’s doing well for himself & his family, keeping the search alive wherever that may be.
‘From here to there’ is a series following 5 Protest surfers over their personal journey… “Whether it’s a search for solitude and empty breaks, winning contests under pressure or simply searching for the perfect wave in imperfect locations”.
